With the approval of Law No. 89/2025 "Provisions on the Space Economy", Italy has consolidated its regulatory framework, strengthening the sector's role as a driver of innovation, security and economic competitiveness. Within the European framework, Italy stands out as the third largest contributor to the ESA and the seventh country in the world in terms of space investment in relation to GDP, and the third in Europe in terms of absolute investment (just under €150 billion).
